OFF THE SUMMIT is a winter-set EP about distance, memory, and slowly letting warmth back in. It opens on childhood scenes of isolating to deal with trauma, moves through self-questioning and learned detachment, and gradually softens into deep friendship and late-night conversations. The project ends on a bittersweet note, not having all the answers, but with an honest sense of feeling something real again.

Run Through the Snow, Pt. 1 is a memory-driven track about childhood vulnerability and learning to cope by running. Growing up, running through the snow became a way to escape tension at home and quiet things that couldn’t be fixed — a habit of running formed early, chasing relief that never really arrived.

Run Through the Snow, Pt. 2, the third track from OFF THE SUMMIT, reflects on beginning to thaw after years of rejecting love and the fear of relearning empathy. In trying to explain that distance, the song wrestles with misdiagnosis and the fear that feeling again might expose a monster better left hidden.

Alone on New Year’s centers on two close friends whose platonic bond is repeatedly mistaken for romance. Through casual skits and mirrored verses, the song captures late-night conversations, (incorrect -_-) social assumptions, and the humor of spending New Year’s together as friends — before the night quietly hints at the possibility of meeting someone new.

The closing track on OFF THE SUMMIT, Christmas Endorphins is a ballad about physical closeness, attraction, and the rush of feeling something meaningful again after being at a distance for so long.
