Written after driving through the middle of an active car crash shortly after moving to the Bay Area, the song focuses on the aftermath — replaying the crash and questioning the decision to flee for survival. Ultimately, Suti begins to question whether he’s really built for the life of a hero.

Released on graduation day, May 31, 2022, 'It Was Only 4 Years' is Suti~Tooti’s debut EP, written largely during junior and senior year of college throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
